Alfalfa drying process
Pretreatment: after the alfalfa is packed, the collected alfalfa grass is subjected to preliminary treatment to remove impurities and excess moisture.
Drying treatment: Put the pretreated (crushed and dehydrated to the moisture content of 60% ) alfalfa into the dryer, start the dryer to dry until the feed reaches the ideal moisture content (normally 12%).
Cooling and packaging: The dried feed will automatically enter the cooling area. After cooling, it will be packaged and sealed to extend the use cycle. We have offer the pellet plant after dryer if you need.
Storage and use: Store packaged feed in a dry and ventilated warehouse and use it as needed to feed livestock.
By introducing an alfalfa rotary drum dryer, our customer successfully optimized the feed production process of the alfalfa pasture, improved the quality and stability of the feed, and provided better protection for the health and production performance of the livestock.
